Yes. You can use Amazon Lex to design and use a free chatbot for one year. From the date you start with Amazon Lex, you can process up to 10,000 text requests and 5,000 speech requests per month for free for the first year. If your AI chat usage is less than this threshold, you can run your chatbot at no amount for the first year.

Starting July 15, 2025, new AWS customers will get up to $200 in AWS Free Tier credits, which can be applied towards eligible AWS services, including Amazon Lex. At account sign-up, you can choose between a free plan and a paid prepare . The free blueprint will be free for 6 months after account creation. SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION

The lex utility shall generate C programs to be used in lexical processing of personality input, and that can be used as an interface to yacc. The C programs shall be generated from lex root code and conform to the ISO C standard, without depending on any undefined, unspecified, or implementation-defined conduct, except in cases where the code is copied directly from the supplied source, or in cases that are documented by the implementation. Usually, the lex utility shall document the program it generates to the file lex.yy.c; the state of this file is unspecified if lex exits with a non-zero exit status.
