Lgbt club

LGBT+ Sports Club Finder

That’s club as in nightclub, not football club. You don’t need to be ‘a member’, wear a particular kit or have any particular skill for bowling. So there are no pre-requisites for attendance.

We were founded in 2017 by newlyweds Marc & Luke — who had just moved to Manchester, and had no idea how to make friends in a new city. They invited the few people they knew to reach bowling one Wednesday, and extended the invite to friends-of-friends. The rest, as they say, is history.

In the years since, we’ve expanded our presence to cities across the UK, helped forge hundreds of new friendships, and proudly represented the UK at international LGBTQ+ ten-pin tournaments across Europe.

It turns out, queer people everywhere require a way of making new friends.

If you’re one of them, we’d treasure to meet you sometime.

Love and pins,

Team GCB x

P.S. Don’t let the call fool you - everyone from across the rainbow is welcome, not just gay men. It was just too good a wordplay to resist.

I get a weekly email, with activities planned, and suggested discussion relevant to current topics. We still have progressing projects and plans within school, but it takes the stress out of my week knowing that I can provide something that will engage students and get them delighted about being a part of such an incredible and supportive community. Celebrating South Asian LGBTQ+ Heritage through the Club Kali Network

This project documents and showcases the rich history of the Club Kali from its inception in 1995 to the present day.

Our team will write down 30 oral histories from key stakeholders, and collect a wide range of memorabilia related to its history. The collated materials will be used to create an exhibition, a podcast series, and other education resources. To provide this project, Club Kali will collaborate with a expansive range of local and national organisations including a lgbt club

Welcome to Leeds University Union LGBT+ Society!

The aim of our society is to create a welcoming and liberating space for all LGBT students at Leeds - the core of our ethos is community, mutual aid, and solidarity, to lift and empower all LGBT students. We run the world for LGBT students, by LGBT students.

We host our free Coffee Hour between 12pm and 2pm Monday to Friday during phrase time in Room 2 of the LUU building (upstairs), where everyone is welcome to come slouch, socialise, relax, and contain a hot drink. We especially welcome newcomers, and you do not acquire to be a member to attend! We also have a book club that meets once a month.

As well as our coffee hour, we host  regular social events throughout term time for our members and the local community. We host a huge range of events with and without alcohol, from board game nights to raves, from production screenings to lectures and discussions. Every week is different, see our Instagram for more information on upcoming events!

We also serve to improve the welfare of LGBT+ students, especially for those from other marginalised backgrounds. Our committee members act as Welfare Officers and are availabl
