A Complete Ranking of X-Men's Omega Level Mutants From Weakest to Strongest

In X-Men lore, the most influential mutants are categorized as 'Omega mutants,' possessing influence equal to literal gods. Despite the X-Men franchise existing for 61 years, only a couple dozen mutants have been officially declared Omega-level, showing just how rare and overwhelming the power wielded by these mutants actually is. The full list of X-Men's Omegas includes iconic heroes, iconic villains, and some little-known mutants.

Many of X-Men's Omega mutants show up from the recently introduced nation of Arakko, so this list will be broken into two parts: Earth mutants (the humanoid heroes and villains most fans are likely to recognize) and Arakko mutants (weird and wonderful novel additions who push the boundaries of mutant powers.) We'll also cover potential Omega mutants - those who probably deserve the title, even though Marvel hasn't made it official.

Because "Omega level" can represent slightly different things depending on the comic era, we'll be categorizing each Omega as one of three 'types':

    Back in 1963, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced the world to the six founding members of the X-Men, comprised of Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, Jean Grey, and Professor X.
