Vision: PFLAG envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, treasured, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
Mission: By meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG realizes its vision through: Back for families, allies and people who are LGBTQ+; Education for ourselves and others about the unusual issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ+; and Advocacy in our communities to change attitudes and create policies and laws that achieve complete equality for people who are LGBTQ+.
Support Group Meetings: We meet to provide support and information on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. In person meetings have returned and will now be held at Christiana Hospital Room 1100 (4755 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19718).

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE (CBS) — Rehoboth Beach is known for its extraordinary fun, dancing and queenly dinner theater, and its mile-long boardwalk that's bursting with eclectic shops and restaurants overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The Sussex County, Delaware beach resort is not only a widespread getaway for families, but it's drawn-out been a booming mecca for the LGBTQ+ community.
"I can't imagine that most people wouldn't involve Rehoboth in somewhere on that list of the queer meccas in the United States," said Tim Ragan, who owns the Cobalt Moon in Rehoboth.
The Rehoboth of today is far from how the town first started. The city was founded in the 1870s as a Methodist Meeting Camp.
"About the '60s, a bunch of gay people started drifting into this area," said Fay Jacobs, a historian and male lover rights activist.
Jacobs says early on, a popular meeting place was the Pink Pony, and Rehoboth became a lgbtq+ enclave during a time when homosexuality wasn't legal.
"So there were dinner parties in homes with the shades drawn and they didn't call attention to themselves, and it was really prefer that until the late '70s," Jacobs said.
