Was garfunkel gay
No question he is. I was attending an Art Garfunkel show at Starlight Ampitheater in Kansas City probably a decade ago. It was mid to late summer and I was in decent shape, clad in shorts and frankly, looking cute good. I was with a nice friend of mine who was renting equipment to some of Garfunkel's backup musicians. Anyway, I was standing offstage during the demonstrate and during a break, he came over to where I was standing in a circle of about 3-4 others. He grabbed a towel from one of his handlers, then took a step forward and stuck his face right in mine. The lighting was poor, and I simply presumed he was trying to figure out who I was and why I was in such close proximity to the state. No biggie. After the show, I was leaning against my buddy's car which was pulled up behind the stage area of this outdoor venue, waiting for him to retrieve the equipment he'd rented the band. Art Garfunkel comes out of his dressing room, strides past 3-4 aging female groupies each decked-out in full whore attire, and made a beeline straight towards me. He refused to even twist his head to acknowledge these ladies, instead staring daggers into me as he walked linear toward
Today we'll be featuring the best duo of all-time... Surpass than the Everly Brothers, better than the Carpenters... Even better than Milli Vanilli... Just joking... Milli Vanilli wasn't a duo, it was a ghost story from the 80s... Grammies...
Simon & Garfunkel were friends like forever. Skillfully, actually since fourth grade. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel grew up in the 1940s and 1950s in the predominantly Jewish neighborhood of Forest Hills in Queens, Unused York, just three blocks away from one another, and attended the similar schools, Public College 164 in Flushing, Parsons Junior Elevated School, and Forest Hills High College. Individually, when still young, they developed a fascination with music; both listened to the radio and were taken with Rock and Roll as it emerged, particularly the Everly Brothers. When Simon first noticed Garfunkel, he was singing in a fourth grade talent show, and Simon thought that was a good way to attract girls; he hoped for a friendship which eventually started in 1953 when they were in the sixth grade and appeared on stage together in a school play adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. That first stage appearance was followed by the duo forming a street-cor

I had mentioned George Michael's passing in yesterday's comments, but I think he deserves more than that: Since yesterday, I perceive like I've lost a friend. He was about my age, he came from English and Cypriot parents (I was born in England and spent my childhood in Cyprus), he was an out and proud gay guy and it seems that he had a nice and charitable soul. He was also one of the top five singers-songwriters of the 80s and 90s. I am sure that his work will be appreciated more profoundly as time goes by; it's only a pity he didn't live to give us more songs like Jesus To A Child, or more joyous coming out hymns favor Outside or An Easier Affair.
I realized that something was going wrong with George Michael in a strange way: as I was checking this blog's visits, I noticed there was a huge spike, almost exclusively directed to my three-part presentation of George, last June (the last part in particular). This huge increase in visits lasted all through yesterday and is still going on. To demonstrate the scale of this increase, the visits received during the last 24 hrs are more than those received in the last two weeks together - and the last two weeks were the best weeks ever. Till now. F

Paul Simon opens up about what caused the rift in his relationship with his former friend and musical significant other Art Garfunkel in episode one of the two-part docuseries In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon, airing on MGM+.
“We were really best friends up until Bridge Over Troubled Water,” he shares, according to People.
“[Afterward], it didn’t have the harmony of the friendship … that was broken.”Simon contends that Garfunkel accepting a role in the 1970 film Catch-22 played a major role in the divide between them. Garfunkel expected Simon to write all the melody for their next album while he was gone. But Simon was not on board with that, making him realize they had an “uneven partnership.”
When the film shoot lasted longer than the imaginative six-month plan, Simon claims Garfunkel expected him to forward him what he wrote so he could grant his input. But Simon was unhappy with that arrangement, noting, “It was a recipe for the breakup of Simon & Garfunkel.”
And when they would achieve “Bridge Over Troubled Water” Garfunkel got all the praise for his voice, and it upset Simon, whose main thought was, “I wrote that son
