My Only Murders in The Building S3 theory:
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
…
Paul Rudd’s character “Ben Glenroy” is gay.
In S3 episode 2, in the scene where Ben and Oliver are going over lines and Ben is frustrated, Ben says “I was Girl Cop. I was CoBro…what if I can’t just be me?” Ben Glenmore has a reputation for creature a “ladies man” and we see this via his cringy flirting with Kimber (Ashley Park) and even Mabel (Selena Gomez). At the end of Episode 3, we spot Ben in his dressing room saying to an unknown figure: “You’re no supposed to be here, Go! No, you’re not gonna go, are you? You’re just gonna settle there, acting all sweet—We both know you’re awful. I want you. I want you so fucking bad, but you’re going to ruin my career…and I’m gonna like it”
If I’m correct and Ben Glenroy is lgbtq+, then I think there are 2 different options on who was in the dressing room with him.
Option 1: Cliff (The Producer/Producer’s son)
-It’s made clear almost immediately when Cliff is introduced that he is gay
-At the “party” when Ben is back from the lifeless, he makes a signal to talk to everyone in the cast + crew. He talks to Donna, but only ever refers to Cliff as “boy”. Cl

Cara Delevingne admits she sees a lot of similarities between herself and the "English, queer" character she's playing in the second season of Only Murders in the Building.
While Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez all come back for the second installment of the popular Hulu show, new cast members like Delevingne and Amy Schumer are joining too. The season starts with two episodes dropping on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Ahead of the Season 2 debut, Delevingne appeared at a special London reviewing of the show to discuss her arrival in the show.
"I wondered how they got the role," Delevingne told the event, attended by Newsweek, "but then they described the part to me and they were like, 'she's English, queer, and a wannabe artist'... I was like, 'that sounds fond of me'."
The 29-year-old actress joins the cast as Alice, the owner of an art gallery who becomes a new love interest for Mabel (Gomez).
"I got quite attached to the character," she continued. "I never usually play an English role, and I also never play a queer part, so I was kind of prefer, 'so what work complete I have to do?' So I decided I'll change my hair, and be more involved in the clothes. It feels like I had
Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne kiss on 'Only Murders in the Building' season 2, but some fans took issue with the moment
The first two episodes of "Only Murders in the Building" season 2 premiered on Hulu Tuesday, and fans of the mystery-comedy are already buzzing about a kiss between Mabel (Selena Gomez) and posh artist Alice (Cara Delevingne).
On "Framed," the second episode of the fresh season, Mabel arrives at Alice's chic downtown art gallery to find that the artist has created a sculpture of her. Alice then instructs the tightly-wound Mabel to "destroy" the sculpture for a cathartic act of act art.
The destruction seems to release something in Mabel, who's been flirting with Alice for most of the second season, and the two share a passionate kiss in the midst of the gallery floor.
But while the intimate moment definitely seemed appreciate a release for Mabel, some fans on Twitter took issue with Gomez's closed-mouth approach to the kiss.
"Selena just open the mouth please," one fan wrote, while others called the kiss "so awkward" and "bland as hell."
