Former 'TOWIE' star Charlie King has come out as gay during an heartfelt interview on 'This Morning'.
The 29-year-old said he was being honest about his sexuality to help other people in the alike situation to feel more comfortable talking about it.

Speaking to Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden on Thursday's ‘This Morning’, Charlie said: “Firstly I experience the time is now and it’s been a long time coming. For the last few months I’ve been sitting on the fence a short-lived bit.
"Even though I’m nervous now talking about it, I know the period is now because anyone that might know me knows that I came off The Only Way is Essex and on that show, they followed my storyline which was very much about that subject because I never really knew where I belonged.
"I never really knew where I fitted in and it was something that I had to address and it’s taken me a good scant years to get here now and be proficient to say ‘I’m Charlie, I’m 29 years senior, I’m a gay bloke and I’m very relaxed with that.’”

A former star of The Only Way is Essex, Charlie King appeared in 55 episodes of the present before a dramatic leave in 2013.
Charlie, who previously dated Gemma Collins, fell out with his foremost friend Bobby Norris after the latter declared his love for him, which saw Charlie leave TOWIE under a cloud.

Charlie King was once famed for his role on The Only Way Is Essex and recognizable best for his very dramatic connection with the one and only Gemma Collins. The series followed his efforts to become more of a male as he started changing what he wore and how he spoke in a bid to fit in. He then had a brief departure from the show during which time he came out as being gay.
Since exiting the show in 2015, he has struggled with both depression and body dysmorphic disorder. The pandemic was a challenging time for all of us. And Charlie admits that psychologically he was not in a good place, which led him to get surgery on his nose. CHARLIE King opened up about opened up about the trauma he put himself through over his confidential struggle with his sexuality.
In tonight's episode of Towie, he met up with Bobby Norris for the first time in four years and had a pleasant catch-up chat as they agreed to get to strive and get their friendship back on track.
Back in 2013 Charlie quit the show but, after denying his homosexuality on Towie, he appeared on This Morning and admitted that he was gay.
Bobby and Charlie met up in a cafe and they grinned at one another as they sat down to eat.
Charlie admitted: "I've got to be honest, I've been so nervous about seeing you. Obviously I'm a fully fledged gay bloke, so I should reintroduce myself."
